Time to Reset Those Timers

To keep your lawn well hydrated while not skyrocketing your water bill, it is important to set your timer with a watering schedule. While considering the average rainfall we get each month, it is suggested that you set your timers for two days a week preferably with a couple of days between (ie. Wednesday and Saturday). With an average run time that varies month to month. Here is a Table of run times recommended by the University of Florida.

January–12 minutes July–49 minutes
February–10 minutes August–60 minutes
March–17 minutes September–48 minutes
April–40 minutes October–43 minutes
May–64 minutes November–32 minutes
June–50 minutes December–16 minutes

By following a similar type of schedule in your area, you can save about 10 – 20% on your water bill.
